Pickle ball when it's warm and ice skating in winter! The Waterhouse Center is a beautiful, open-sided 100’ x 120’ pavilion located at 51 Main Street, in the heart of Downtown Kennebunk. This youth and family pavilion hosts events and festivals all four seasons including ice skating in the winter.

Want to get out and enjoy our beaches and trails? Here's a sampling of what the Kennebunk area can offer!
This is the closest beach to our house - 6 minutes by car, 15 by bike! Gorgeous beach, private but open to the public with limited parking and no pets. More info: Parson's Beach is very private with few visitors because of restrictive parking...only 6 or 7 parking spaces on Parson's Beach Road. Adjacent to the road is a tidal marsh with a few benches where you can sit and enjoy the quiet...shore birds, fish, and shells...lovely. Google Maps
Gooch's Beach, also known as Long Beach, is the largest and most popular of the three beaches. Sandwiched between the mouth of the Kennebunk River and a rocky outcropping called Oaks Neck, Gooch's white sand and good surf draw many visitors in the summer months. Google Maps
It is an incredibly serene place to be. It has STUNNING views all the way down the beach. There's a great playground for kids right on the beach! Just a beautiful place to visit!! Google Maps
Also known as Rocky Beach, Middle Beach is part of a trio of beaches along Beach Avenue in the picturesque Kennebunk area of coastal Maine. Middle Beach lays between Mother’s Beach to the west and Gooch’s Beach to the east. Middle Beach is a narrow and rocky beach composed of mostly smooth pebbles and rocks. Google Maps
This large salt marsh & estuary features hiking trails, trees & many bird-watching opportunities. It will contain approximately 7,600 acres when land acquisition is complete.
The Wells Reserve at Laudholm is a beautiful place. They welcome more than 25,000 visitors each year. Their easy to moderate trails are open year round for hiking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. (Trails are not groomed in winter.)

The Lower Village of Kennebunk, once known as “Harbor Village”, was developed in the 18th century as a mecca for ship building. Workers at numerous boatyards built many ships that turned the Kennebunk River into a major port until the mid-1800s.
